STAN HYWET HALL - Akron, Ohio Here's my favorite American mansion.  "Stan Hywet Hall" at just over 64,500 square feet, is located in Akron Ohio.  I love its Tudor style, and English country estate atmosphere.  There's an indoor swimming pool beneath the billiards and study, and a bowling alley and gymnasium under the music room!  The third floor attic has a musicians room, a sewing room, another guest suite, and more servant rooms.  The stair tower has an office on the third floor, and an infirmary on the fourth.
